After six months of hardly writing anything at all I took the first tentative steps of writing a flash story yesterday based on the word-of-the-day ‘Bombinate’ at dictionary.com. Entitled ‘The Humming’ you can read it over at my Short Short Stories blog.

Hopefully by undertaking a few stories inspired by word-of-the-day again I can start to get the feel for writing once more. Don’t expect too much too soon. This rustiness is going to take a while to rub down.
